Exhibition
27 May – 22 September 2019
Kees Visser’s works on paper tend to be purely abstract, often using monochrome colour fields and overpainting to achieve deep but subtle colour effects with a textured, crystalline surface. In Maison Louis Carré, Visser engages space directly, using the geometry of his paintings and reliefs to rethink the space and push the boundaries of contemporary painting towards a more minimal-conceptual mode.
Exhibition organized in collaboration with Galerie Jérôme Poggi, Paris.
