Group exhibition
5 September – 28 November 2021
This group exhibition of sculptural objects and artworks explores the notion of how the contradictory can also be complimentary and will include a number of works which are especially created for this occasion. Responding to the idea of bringing different and very distinct voices together to create a contemporary collection, Odd and Even – a Collection presents two different aesthetics; one bold and intense, the other quiet and serene.
Participating artists: Alison Britton, Andrea Walsh, David Gates, Edmund Byrne, Fredrik Nielsen, Heidi Bjørgan, Johannes Nagel, Kari Dyrdal, Maria van Kesteren, Marit Tingleff, Martin Bodilsen Kaldahl, Matthew Harris, Michael Brennand-Wood, Pernille Braun, Ptolemy Mann and Virginia Leonard.
Curated by Monique Deul and Cécile Franken.
With the kind collaboration of Taste Contemporary, Geneva, and the support of the Embassy of Finland, Paris, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norwegian Crafts and Hiscox.
