Exhibition Secundino Hernández – Works from the Miettinen Collection

The art of Secundino Hernández lies between abstraction and figuration, expressionism and pictorial tradition. Hernández uses various materials and techniques, engaging with the canvas in an almost sculptural approach. The exhibition presents four years of the artist’s work through paintings selected from the Timo and Iiris Miettinen collection. The choice of the works and their arrangement were inspired by the home of another great collector, Louis Carré, custom designed by Alvar Aalto.
