Exhibition of glass works
29 May – 4 September 2016
Often metaphorical, the simple, primitive, almost archetypal forms of Danish artist Lene Bødker’s glass sculptures draw their inspiration from architecture, nature and the human body. Her language combines the organic and geometric; straight lines and curves dominate in turn. A strong sensuality and a desire for fusion with nature are recurrent elements in Lene Bødker’s universe, which also expresses a spiritual dimension, the idea of being part of something much bigger.
